H & Chicken was built on a simple idea: serve really good food, made fresh, with quality you can taste in every bite.
My journey started at 13 years old, working side-by-side with my father. Those early years taught me discipline, consistency, and the pride that comes from doing things the right way. I grew up watching Kitchen Nightmares, and the message that stuck with me was always the same:

Make everything from scratch.

That philosophy became the core of H & Chicken. Every dish is prepared fresh, using high-quality ingredients, real cooking, and no shortcuts.

What Does the “H” Stand For?

I get this question every day.

H is the first letter of my father’s name.
This brand is dedicated to him. Without his guidance and sacrifices, H & Chicken wouldn’t exist. Naming the restaurant after him is my way of honoring everything he taught me.

And yes — H also stands for Halal.
We’re proud to serve a fully halal menu held to the highest standards.

Where We Started

Our first location opened on H Street in Washington, DC, and from day one our mission has been the same:
Serve fresh food with honest value.
